Soma Physical Wellness focuses on helping people relieve chronic pain and increase their physical awareness, strength, and flexibility. We do this though the use of precise postural and segmental exercises.
Soma Physical Wellness offers classes in ELDOA, Myo-Fascial Stretching, and Segmental Muscular Strengthening.
Soma Physical Wellness classes are centered around highly precise exercise designed to relieve stress. It is the focus on precision that allows our clients to derive the most benefits from their training. Soma Physical Wellness believe that everyone can enhance their quality of life.
ELDOA creates space in between the joints. Fascial tension is created to fix the bone directly below and mobilize above in order to target a specific vertebrae. As space is created, the disk is osmotically enriched via nutrient pumping, resulting in metabolic waste being fluished out.

I have been working with Kevin for about 7 months at least 3 times a month in a combination of private and semi-private lessons to address specific issues with compressed pain and lack of mobility in my neck and lower back, as well as hip and knee pain. It took me about 6 lessons to really start to build up enough awareness, strength and flexibility to hold the poses, but once I did, my improvement rapidly increased. I skipped the surgery to replace 2 discs in my neck and instead now have no neck pain and have much better posture – no longer stick my chin out. My overall strength and wellbeing have significantly improved with Kevin’s help, and I have recommended him to several friends who have added ELDOA to their overall health and fitness regimen.
I have been training with Kevin Cruz for the past year, particularly “The ELDOA Method.” I was having severe shoulder pain and I suffer from a bulging disk in my lower back. My orthopedic surgeon referred me to a pain management doctor who suggested that I just get an epidural to numb the back pain. That was not acceptable to me, so I began ELDOA to stretch my fascia to lend the opportunity for fluid to enter the area of the bulging disk to assist in realignment of the spine. This process has given me great relief to my lower back and I can feel as though my spine is self-correcting. My shoulder pain has completely subsided. Thanks to Kevin and “The ELDOA Method.
